My Vanguard Erycina kit came with 12 of these. Lo and behold I found two loose ones in my stuff. No idea where the other 10 went. Does anyone know where I could find some rather than ask Vanguard?

Don't be afraid to ask Vanguard if they can replace the lost/missing blocks.  Many of these quality ship model companies will replace parts at no cost if you bought the kit from them.  Otherwise, my best recommendation is to look at Syren Ship Model Company for your blocks.  Rigging Blocks for ship models - scale boxwood blocks- swiss pear-2mm scale rigging blocks|3/32" scale rigging blocks and pulleys

I looked on Syren. These are not blocks. They look like donut with an outside indentation for the rope to around. I will try Vanguard. Just hate to wait for the overseas shipping. Thanks.

I don't agree at all. Syren makes some of the most accurate and well formed blocks on the market!  Possibly the only thing better would be an actual working block. Which would be next to impossible for a 2mm block.

I think he means the ones that came with kit.  They are not blocks but instead sound like bullseyes but made out of wood.  Used for leading rigging through them and not actual blocks.

BCD,

It sounds like you may be talking about thimbles - they have a single hole through the piece and a groove around the edge for a line to attach.

I bought some 2.5 mm "single hole deadeyes" from Ages of Sail (AM4280/25), 20 per package.

Here is a photo of one of these in the sling for the yard.
