To update my introduction:

I am a retired dentist living in western Massachusetts. I have been building models all my life. I started as a child building plastic model cars and wooden COMET airplanes. I graduated to larger much larger models, restoring completely vintage British Sports Cars. Then I returned to smaller much smaller models.( ie Model Ships ) I love this hobby and am so glad I just found this site !!!!

Some of the other ships i am working on:

USS Constitution by Model Shipways 1/76 Scale

Armed Virginia Sloop by Model Shipways 1/48 Scale

I am sure I am not the only modeler that has multiple ships in progress!IMG_2643.thumb.jpeg.7718019d679c4e48b0f0ccfbafacee0e.jpegIMG_2641.thumb.jpeg.342c761c4952f20eef089f9f7ddf31b9.jpegIMG_2641.thumb.jpeg.342c761c4952f20eef089f9f7ddf31b9.jpegIMG_2641.thumb.jpeg.342c761c4952f20eef089f9f7ddf31b9.jpegIMG_2641.thumb.jpeg.342c761c4952f20eef089f9f7ddf31b9.jpeg

I currently have four in progress. I'm hoping to get one or two finished relatively soon, but I'm sure they'll quickly be replaced by one or two more.

You too? I restored a 37 MGTA, 60 MGA, 59 TR3A, 58 Morris convertible, and various American iron. Pre war MGs are my favorite cars and as goofy as the TA engineering was, it is the car I remember most fondly. I still have my collection of car badges, golly knows what I'll ever do with them?
