To help break up the repetition of hull planking on my Medway Longboat kit, I decided to slowly start building the Hannah SIB kit from Amati.

I picked up the kit on eBay for $50 used, but complete.

First thing I did was to inspect the kit to make sure everything was there.

After that, I started by building the hull by laminating most of the pieces for the hull.  I decided to leave the last 3 layers on the bottom off since I plan to set her in water in the bottle.

And here is how she sits with a rough sanding to get smoothed out.
