Possibility of doing this pob???

I was considering doing this as a pob build. I was curious what others thought of this and if anyone has done it?

Hello,

 

The plans exist to do it as plank-on-bulkhead and in the previous version of MSW I remember one person was doing/did this using the plans. Beyond that I am uncertain.

Ok. I do see that now in the download area. On the bulkhead drawings there are some that have a black and red line on the drawing. What are thoe two lines representing?

At a guess they are showing the angle of the frame. As the ship approaches the stern/bow you will get a more enhanced angle to the edge of the ships shape. This can be not shown and sanded or it can be shown to allow the builder to avoid some of the sanding involved.

That is called the bevel of the frames, or in this case bulkheads.

Aldo is doing a POB but ran into issues as I recall.  I don't know if he was able to sort them out.

Ok that makes sense. So basically when i cut the initial bulkheads I'll want to go to the widest spot on each of the two lines. Then I'll have the wood need to bevel down. Thanks guys. Much obliged!

Yes, always cut to the widest lines.
