Thanks for reposting this one, Sjors - I had somehow missed it on MSW 1.0!!!  Nice work on the planking.

Neither should a ship rely on one small anchor, nor should life rest on a single hope.

Looks very nice, Sjors.  I guess we would call her a 'Privateer', a sort of government sanctioned pirate.  What is the scale on her?

And thanks for reposting ...... I'll be following.

Your welcome Augie

It is a privateer and the scale is 1:80

What a beautiful job, I love how the color has turned out, looks like you have made some great progress.

Hi Josh,

This build is all ready finished but after everything was gone I thought I put the hole build log back.

You can see her in the complete gallery.

But thanks for the kind words.

Your welcome Wayne,

There where so many builds at the old MSW that I don't blame you that you not see it.

Now you can  :)

And thanks.

Got both your posts Sjors.  Thanks!

I have to say, she is a real beauty and you deserve to be proud of her.  I would never even attempt sails.  Yours look great.

Thanks for re-posting.  This was done before my time on MSW 1.0

Just one question ------ is that YOU painted on the transom?????

Augie

You have a sharp eye Augie…..

Look it a little like me?

Funny that you say it.

At the old MSW I had the same question.

The sails where not that difficult.

I had a great help from Anja  :)

Thanks for posting this. The ship looks awesome. May I ask the difficulty of building this? My wife is thinking of getting this for me but I have not built a ship before.
