I was wondering if the NRG has any plans to bring back the coffee mugs. My old coffee mugs are worn out and I would like to replace them.
Thanks,
Ron W.

I got the NRG, MSB, and SIS flash drives for my computer but cannot figure out how to properly install them. I am running Windows 11, can someone help me with the installation?
Thanks,
Ron W.
Edit: I got MSB working but having issues with NRG "menu". Shows me the list of volumes but can't click on any, and SIS "later years". This shows the volumes with no issue covers and can't access the magazines. Thanks.

I tried using the member discount code for some NRG flash drives but I got an "invalid code". I am assuming the code is your membership number. Am I wrong, is there another member discount code?
Thanks,
Ron Wilkinson

Thank you guys, I ordered a couple from McMaster-Carr. I have had that Preac for well over 25 years, first time I have had to do this.

Side bearing, on the side plate without the motor, on my Preac thickness sander is finally going out. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a replacement or what size I would need if I tried Home Depot.
Thanks,
Ron W.

Where can I buy brass eye bolts
You could try Model Expo, maybe Micro Mark. Honestly, if you have a soldering iron, it is easy to make your own.

I completely agree with the usefulness of this book.

Hi guys and gals. Haven't been on here in sometime so I thought I had better introduce myself. My name is Ron Wilkinson and I am from Draper, UT. Have been a NRG member for over 20 years and also an IPMS member. Currently working on Blue Jacket's Olympia and Zvesda's Knyaz Suvorov.

That is a good idea. On the few areas that you need to sand, can you wet sand? I have wet sanded bondo on basswood with no problems, but I haven't done that on wood filler.

The only plans showing the portholes are a profile plan and they are not mechanical drawings. I was hoping my idea might show the effects of the hull curves.

Hi everyone,
I have a dilemma. I need to transfer portholes, casemates, and other hull fittings from a profile plan to the side of a hull, and I am looking for an accurate method. Since the plan is flat and the hull isn't I can't transfer directly from plan to hull. I was thinking of marking the locations on a batten, then transfer the marks along the deck's centerline. I can then use a square to extend these marks to the sides of the hull. Any ideas on this would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Ron W.

I couldn't find any reference to "CMS". I wonder if it was just a misprint on the book.
