  5. I decided to self-produce the strips of the second planking, I bought it from a carpenter a scrap of veneer, which I cut into pieces of about 30 cm. Then, on one side only, I brushed glue diluted with water so as not to make the pulping wood during cutting. Using a paper trimmer I cut the wood (oak) in strips of 3 mm. Mauro

  7. As I always do in my models, I apply inside the hull a mix of white glue, wood chips, sawdust and small wood scari. This gives more strength to the hull and prevents shrinkage and twisting of the planking . Mauro

  10. I started to lay the first planking , the kit had to be very old because the strips are virtually dry ...... even keeping them to soak for hours. Are prone to breaking, I put them carefully and forcing them as little as possible. At the end of a good sanded remit all right! Mauro

  21. I removed the deck to be able to work from inside the hull, I broke the bulwark stanchion of the frame .... will fix them later. I put the wood L profile to reinforce the coupling keel-frame . Mauro
