    Hi Paraplax , I'm trying with wine vinegar (100 ml), 1 teaspoon salt and a few drops are ammonia, after a few hours you have a patina of green oxide. I attach a photograph of the rudder of my schooner. Mauro

    I did an experiment, I oxidized copper roofing of the rudder blade. If I meet him I will do all the coverage on the hull. Mauro

    Hi Bob , mine is a schooner built from the plans of the "Lettie" but is a fantasy model . Will look like but does not want to be copying . I want to make a generic schooner , not identical to the original , customized by me . I will follow your work, it will be for me a source of inspiration . Mauro
