  1. And done. The 3D printed wheels are very nice.
  2. Tools added, aerials added. Dust next.
  3. Chipping and a neutral wash.
  4. Base coat! I’m quite happy with this, chipping tomorrow
  5. So a few days off. I sprayed a clear coat over the base red/brown. Then a chipping fluid coat, and now green. Base that now needs to be lightened up. The wheel has about 4 different gradients, I’ll do some grey after.
  6. Primer and Foundation coat down. Once set I’ll give it a matte coat before chipping fluids
  7. Fairly straight forward. The rear gear rack is also part of the aftermarket set but it’s waaay to hard for me. I’m happy with the plastic and just added some rivets
  8. Starting in the turret. The sleeve is bolted on in the real thing so a little bit of aftermarket again to add to plain plastic
  9. Most of the lower hull done. I need to do up the equipment straps later. the aftermarket wheels compared to the kit ones.
  10. Lots of little PE bits. It’s certainly more simple than a ship that’s for sure
  11. So I thought I’d try and get a French vehicle done for my annual comp this year. Hobbyboss kit, plus a PE set and resin wheels. I’ve hoarded 4 Heller armor kits for next year which as rare as hens teeth so this will be the start.
  12. this link has a heap of details on the aircraft if interested. https://flyingmachines.ru/Site2/Crafts/Craft25837.htm
  13. I’ve made a start, the level of detail of the cockpit is ok but my plan is to sink her in the waves nose first so it’s not that important!
  14. This is the second of 2 little resin kits I was given, I gave away the (finished) last one to the bloke who gave me the kit. these kits are difficult. The wing struts look insanely hard to align.
  15. Masking up. Deck sone, then I want to put in the lines where I will be doing oil canning. Lots of different shapes
  16. Flight deck. I used a black/Grey for the VLS hatches and the helicopter barriers. Once the flight deck dries ill mask then then the rest of the deck will be dark grey. the barriers are a pain, the PE is blank but the undersides have warning colours and hydraulics
  17. The PE set basically blanks out all the potholes. The PE you see on the rear deck are for both the safety barriers (which I will model deployed as opposed to the kit flush ) and VLS silos near the actual hangar
