  1. Build quality from 1976 to 2016 is a lot easier!
  2. Another day and I’m done on this one
  3. Hull pretty much done. The kit provides a set of spare barrels that on the back deck then a piece of plastic to cover them completely. The real thing has brackets on either side.
  4. Apparently the DCA was not that good as it didn’t store enough ammunition.
  5. No I’ll do a modern release AMX next with a proper aftermarket set. Be nice to have something that aligns. On South Pacific paso’s it’s double the price
  6. So despite the Postal Systems best efforts to destroy it, the last 1975 kit has arrived in Oz from the UK
  7. So aftermarket tracks. They do not click together. This is a massive job
  8. Nice build. The rigging is great. I have soya in my stash along with the Hasewaga PE. Pontos do the 1/250 I think unless I’ve missed something
  9. So my brains trust thought it needed more waves to look natural.
  10. So the resin pour has now gone off. First thin coat of waves to make it opaque.
  11. So I got 2 dingy’s. Only needed one. Which one?
  12. I got my hands on a test print of Micromaster’s 37mm Breda AA gun. These were on the foredeck of Italian battleships and recessed into the hull.
  13. And I’m back, fresh from NZ’ Micromaster, a 1/72 dingy. Diorama time
