@RickyGene, @popeye the sailor, thanks your for the compliments. You can pick one up one Ebay for 100.00 plus, the last one I think went for 160.00 which was a Revell plastic kit older model. So keep looking if your still interested. Do you still have your old kit?? Would love to see picture if you do.
Here's a update, the fore mast main rat lines are replaced and will be working on the rats themselves soon. So far to recover the fore mast rats I have 10 hrs into them. They look better already.
Stay tuned Ya'll it's moving along quickly. (hopefully)

No, just looked at the sample pictures on the advert. But what I was able to read made me think it could be funny reading. I just may get it. But on the other hand it looks like they have a lot more books out there that they do not advertise all that well, like the B-17 book. Maybe they have something I have been looking for. Their prices aren't too outrageous.

Or one of those animatronic dolls they sell these days.
It Can't, but on page 19 they list it as "Marriage basically lets you annoy one special person for the rest of your life"

lmagna got a reaction from SigEp Ziggy in USS Constitution by MikeU48 - Revell - 1:96 - PLASTIC - with sails
Nice looking guns.
I think I just had a brainstorm.
(I know, pretty hard to believe that my brain is able to function at all) but I think I now have an idea of what the extra wheels are for. These carriages are designed to be used on models other than the Revell Constitution. On those models the deck will normally have a camber and it was normal to make the wheels larger on one end of the carriage larger than the other to compensate for this. The deck on the Revell kit is pretty much flat and in order to make the carriage look level while sitting on this flat deck it is necessary to use the same size wheels on both front and rear. Does this seem possible to others?

The base is close to completion. After three or four coats of primer, putty and sanding, I gave it an industrial look with a glossy dark gray. This will provide enough contrast with the matte aspect of the hull:
I am also working on the electric wiring board to control independently all the lights. Adjustable resistors are used to fine tune the amount of light through each compartment.
Finally, the Officers quarter has been glued into the hull, and the wires inserted through the stand receptacle:
I am going to use small connectors to allow the capability to remove the hull from the stand, in case of maintenance and during the building of the three remaining modules.
