First off all, thanks all for all the likes and all the kind words :)
And a small update:
I just finished the fore mast, just didnt glue it. That I will do when all the masts are finished.
Now -with the first mast in its place, I can imagen how tall she really is....HUUUUGE!
And I am quit satisfied how it looks. And dont think it went all smoothly at the first time. For instance, the fore topgallant mast broke 3x while using the lathe, :angry: and each time when I almost finished it. So I lost several hours of work but thats all part off the deal. I had to go to the store to buy new raw wood.
Some pictures:

@Elijah: thank you
@Sjors: thanks and... yes, you told me...
Using the lathe goes more easy than I thought in the first place.
Btw, I have a question about that:
- on page 10: the Hounds and Trestletrees for the top and topgallant masts: they say you can use peaces of 1x3mm walnut and tapering the lower part till they have the diameter of the mast. But its not needed when you have a lathe, is it??
I am still working on the foremast. Far more work than I thought. I will make some pictures when I finish the first mast.

Looking great Sjors! And yes, Wayne is right, there is a gap in one of the gratings, but the first picture shows that you probably repaired it :D

And a small update. The shipboats are on there place and this means I finished the hull. The three lanterns and the anchors I will do at the end after I finished the rigging. And now a new and exciting chapter starts: the bowsprit, the masts and the rigging. Sjors showed me how the lathe works so I will start with the bow sprit tomorrow :)

@Bob
Thanks
@Sjors
No, I didn't use the lathe. I never used such a thing, thats one of the reasons I pay you and Anja a visit next saturday For instance: I really thought that this machine had 2 rotary buttons. One to set the diameter of the raw wood on the left side and one to set the diameter on the other side. Then push a button and that I only had to look at it how it was done. But I also googled a bit and I learned that this wasn't really the way this machine works I also learned I had to buy a set of chisels to make it work :D :D and that order hasnt arrived yet. Yesterday morning my order of raw wood has finally arrived after five weeks waiting. And guess what: wrong order. Paint was oke, but the wrong knives and instead of the 5 pieces of raw wood butternut 1mm I ordered, I only received 2 peaces .......zucht....
I send them a really nice mail............ :angry:
But whats more important, The 2 raw wood, which I did receive, was just enough for all the oars. I had 200cm and now 3 cm left :D
Does anyone know if there is a webshop where I can order butternut raw wood 1mm and also other wood???

@Bob: thanks, I do my best
@Sjors: Thanks Sjors and yes, I know and of course you are right that it is a bit tricky to put the boomkins in there place already. But the building is now in a stadium that I have to be carefull with every movement I make....
And..... should I break one, its not that difficult to replace it :D

@mobbsie
Thx, I do my best
@Piet
Thx Piet
So you need just two boats, thats all? Anything else? :D :D I will ask my regiment "kaboutertjes" to build some boats for you!
But whats more important......I finished my boats!!!
Now I just have to wait for my 1mm raw wood (butternut) to make my 34 oars. The webshop promissed me I will have them at the end of next week. So it took them 5 weeks. Probably hard to get.

I will put some pictures on my blog tomorrow.
I decided, I will buy a "draaibank" (dont know the english word for it) in august, the same as you have (proxxon). When I show up in Rotterdam, you can show me how it works :D

Thx Sjors,
New rope looks beautifull.
And a "small" update.
I finished my second boat, the 32Ft Pinnace and I gave it a bit an impression of my own. Still toke me 8 days to build it. Two more boats to go.
I still haven't received my order so I can fix the oars. I phoned the web shop. There answere: we are still working, but our supplier is on hollidays :huh:
I will receive my order end next week :angry:

@Piet
Thx Piet and you are right, only the end result counts
@Sjors
Thx Sjors and yes, I did get some stock
And you know what was really funny. I bought raw wood in several sizes, but I could only get raw wood 14mm in the length of 270cm! When I got back to my car, there were standing some people in front of the car next to me. When I opened my trunk, one of them said:"That doesnt fit mate". I just put the raw wood against my knee, broke it in two peaces, throwed it in my trunk and said:"Now it does". You had to see his face! He must have thought that I was a complete idiot :D :D :D
