  1. Coming on just great. The kit is not perfect by any means but our modelling skills are what it is all about. Lovely build.
  2. The lengths of some of the pre cut hull planking seems to be an issue. My San Bartolome kit had the same problem , with two or more just that little bit too short. strange really as the plates they were cut from still had length on the waste material to make them longer. lovely kits though.
  3. Excellent work Gregg. Stains look great. Will create some lovely contrasts and textures. Nice steady build.
  4. Hi Gregg. Looking good, will follow with great interest for the future. neilm.
  5. Building this also. Tried emailing Amati twice for a replacement part but no reply whatsoever. Shame on them really. They make great products but i found the after sales very disappointing, so beware on that point.
  6. Me also. Have emailed Amati a few times and not any response at all. Shame on them.
  7. Great build. Great skill. Now building this and all this really helps. 😊
  8. Beautiful work. Thank you for sharing and giving us all pointers. Very well done. Be very proud.
  9. Thank you Flyingfish. always a nice feeling once those letters go on. It instantly becomes the Orca. Lovely build.
  10. brush would be better as you get the rough grainy look of the brush strokes. More character that way. My opinion only. Still fantastic though.
  11. Absolutely brilliant. Stunning detail. Beautiful.
  12. Fantastic work Ff. Love the little details. Great touch's.☺
  13. Same scale as mine Flyingfish. Great detailed work. Very impressive.
  14. Fantastic. Got to be painted. Shame though, that planking is beautiful. 🤗
  15. Flyingfish. At 1:20 scale, this boat is about 2 feet long yes
  16. Just fantastic. I don't think anyone has ever detailed beyond Quints main cabin. Great build, great skill and love the jaws. Loving this build.
