    It looks like a nice kit. How are the instructions? Easy to follow? I understand the camber, it don’t look like a lot of camber so the water would run off the decks. Great job!

    Looking good so far. I’m going to follow this build, because I think I would like to build myself.

    Just received Midwest Grand Bank Dory kit, that I’ll start tomorrow. I also ordered the Midwest kit Sakonnet Daysailer. The Grand Banks Dory kit looks really good. I kit the Midwest kits from Model Expo all are going to be pretty good! Will be following this build too!

    How do you like the Ultimation sander?

    Could you use a divider with a pencil on the wood and pointer on model to trace the curve of the bow to the wood, then cutout and see how close you come to fitting.

    You said your wife won the kit at a model boat show. Was that in Oxford Md?

    Great job! I’ve done one of their kits and it’s a little weird wiring the planks together but it works! Like to do this kit myself.

    Got the basic boat built and painted. Now I got to start the rigging for the tongs.

    Got some more work done on my round stern. I got the floor done and working on planking the deck. I also cut out the low cabin sides and roof.

    Finished my Indian Girl canoe.

    Got the deck supports in today and installed the floor supports in. Won’t be able to work on the boat tomorrow I’ll be at the Oxford Md. model boat show until 4pm. If in the area stop by and say hi.

    Sealed the canoe with spray shellac today and started to work on the paddles

    Got the bottom finished and started on the inside. I’m working on the deck supports.

    Jay, how do you like Wye River models skipjack? I’ve built a few of their models and like them.

    I got some more work done on my round stern. I installed the keel, I plank the round stern and started to plank the bottom.

    Got some more work done on my canoe. I think it’s coming along nicely but not my best work.
