    Hi Gary, the design you see in the photo is the one redesigned following the original of the NMM of the Intrepid class to which Anson relongs for the construction of the model.

    Hello thank you you are very kind, unfortunately at the moment I don't have the possibility to put back the photos that have disappeared, Gary I put the only photo I found of the rough construction site under construction, the structure is in plywood covered with but the stone-like upper part is very old coarse grain sandpaper cut to size and glued, the dimensions of the construction site were proportioned to the dimensions of the model by taking the dimensions taken from the drawings in the book mentioned above, as a last thing I thank Ed Tosti again for the magnificent books on the Naiad and I share fully what was said about Greg and David for their great knowledge and great manual skills in shipbuilding and for their magnificent books that I own and consult frequently. If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
