Thanks Salty and everyone else that has been following this log, I have enjoyed it immensely and with all your encouragement I have done a lot more than I thought I could! There also seems to be a bit of a motorbike subculture among us modellers as well!
Finally it is finished, mounted on small brass pillars and installed in the glass cloche acquired by the admiral.
It took about 200 hours.... I am looking forward to doing another!

Once again thanks for looking in on my build!
We are going away for some sun to escape the long continuing London winter so I shall complete the build when we return
Time to review the things I think could be improved
I definitely need to improve planning the rigging in advance with more fixings on yards hull and tops
I also think that it is possible to get a good approximation of ratlines and deadeyes which I shall try next time
I am happy with the materials used but would like to improve the precision of deck fittings
The tension in the rigging needs to be managed better and I would like to try getting more realistic sag on the lines
There should be less reliance on glue which has built up too much in some places and catches the light.

Thank you my friends for the great encouragement.
Kevin I see from your build that it is shaping up to be an exemplary Vic!
Daniel I will certainly send a couple of pics in for consideration, fingers crossed and thanks for the suggestion. I have not used thread blocks at they do not need to move it is simply a knot with a blob of glue. I am not sure that a thread block would work with this line as it is a little stiff and does not bend well.
I think the build is drawing to a close. It has a pleasing density to it now just a few more strings flags and the anchors. Must not forget the rudder!
I also need to think about how best to mount the ship inside the glass dome

Yards now raised and thinking about how much running rigging to attempt!

Nice bulwarks Michael! You know that the wood is thin when it starts to become translucent!
Great job

Hi,
thanks für the nice comments!
Here's a little update:

I found a little time for some nice progress, and some nice scare of myself
Time to mount first line of dead eyes
Little jig for precise drilling holes
And finished line
Considering all ropes that will come there, and fence on main rail, I think it will be good. Scale is OK, position is OK
But ... space for working on rigging .... how to hell to do this ? I must figure something until rigging comes
Edit: my phone died in a period of quaranty, and have got new, better one with good camera, as it can be seen in photos above

Hi,
as previously announced here are the pictures from the removal of the boat shell.
Before removing the shell I've sanded the hull.
Sanding I was doing outdoors.
With great excitement and nervousness I loosened the screws.
I am satisfied with the result.

39℃ in shade, jumping in downtown, come back home, napp, and - yeah - tomorrow is easy day, without going to downtown. So, it was to hot to work outside, considering my garage is the coldest place in house, I found a few good reasons to continue with catheads
First, color correction of catheads. Line betwern white and black sectipns now follows plank line, as it has to be
Still not cemented. I decide to make all metal parts of cathead before mounting it, and started with top of cathead.
Not enough skill to make it from Cu or brass foil, so ... allmighty less than 0,5mm thick venner strips to simulate ironwork
After little putty and sanding
Not bad.
And then carving payed my attention and turn me off the planned road
Couple of attempts, pretty dissapointed, base is,3,5x3,5 mm, with conclussion I'm just not abble to make it so small, and decided only to visualy mark it, making little relieff bulb, and playing with gold and black acrylic paint
Here is result
Temporary in place
I think I can live with this solution

Hi Nenad
All you detailing is looking terrific!
The sharp and fragile piece I think is called the whisker and is hinged on the real CS as you can just see at the top of the photo to keep it out of the way when necessary
Hope this helps!

Thank you George and Matt.
Whisker boom according to C-plans.
Usefull picture Matt to understand function and working scene of cats.
I think I'll keep my solution because my magnifier is only 3x englaring, and do not know how to drill 0,2mm hole in 1mm wire
And somewhere in detailing you just have to say simply words : " stop, that is enough"
