  3. That is mighty fine looking work there mate - love the dash and the clocks. OC.

I used to work for a housing repair company we worked mainly on replacing facias and soffit boards, there would be two of us on ladders at each end remove the guttering - pull away the old facia boards , then we would paint up and run a slanted edge - before nailing the new boards in place, then run a line for the guttering brackets to get the right water run off. OC.
  5. Thank you denis, yep its being a right pain at the moment - no sensation in my little finger and the swelling is a bit larger than normal, its most noticable when I try to grip anything in my left hand - two of my fingers lock up - not good for model making. OC.
  6. You are so right - it was such a dangerous time and the bravery of the pilots was amazing, there is an event over here called Shuttleworth Fly In all period planes from WW2 to biplanes - some amazing yet seem so fragile aircraft. OC.

  10. This will be good, I saw the Czech AF fly these at IAT airshow UK back in the 90s - what a machine. OC.
  11. Thinking about where the SE5A would be - possibly the eqv of the Hurricane - Tiger Moth was the (then Spitfire). OC.

  14. You might be right, and with it being underneath it would be more protected from the weather. OC.
  15. I have found these - http://storage.mfa.free.fr/se5photo7uk.html They seeem to show the windows underneath the top wings possibly covered. OC.
