  1. That link shows a current project to explain what HMS Pickle and her captain became famous for - it is facainating - and explained in some detail on Twitter - https://twitter.com/LtLapenotiere OC.
  2. You are doing some great work, thought this might be of interest - thetrafalgarway.org OC.

  6. Happy birthday Trafalgar Day. OC.
  7. I asked about Cresswell as I used to work for them as the assembler/engineer putting our range of recumbents-folders and hook on carriers together and testing new products, we were a small company with a very small workforce - great times while I was there. OC.
  8. Looking Good, im hoping to introduce the very man who captained her, to the forum soon. At Trafalgar. OC.
  9. Really nice progress and Wow I love that recumbent, have you heard of the make Cresswell Cycles UK? OC.
  10. I was reading some facinating stuff supposed to be genuine transcripts from Apollo 11 (I think it was) live comms between the astronauts and mission control, where they were reporting other crafts on the moon that were said to be larger and more advanced. Nothing more was said about it though so who knows - OC.
  11. I like your workaround with the chain divertors - really well actioned, its coming together so nicely. OC.
  12. Interesting build - I once built the Airfix Apollo Rocket it was massive - well I was smaller then as a kid. OC.
  13. Hi all, I managed to get on the pearl at the table today, firstly I decided to strengthen the stays by pulling back on the mizzen, firstly I ran a stay from the mizzen tops and back down bulkhead - this was tied of and darkened to match the same shade as the other stays, I was then going to contiue making the rats for the upper mainmast. But I had to stop as I have developed pain well more like a tingling and hot and cold sensation in my right hand, I will have to learn to build using my teeth (LOL). So that was it no pics as my mobile cell phone camera is sick at the moment and doesn't want to take pics - poor thing it is over ten years old. OC.
  14. What wallace says makes Huge sense - I have done the same in two of my builds - you need the blocks or even strips of wood to keep the frames strong and in line with each other (port and larboard). OC.
  15. You was still on one and saw service - sounds good enouth to me, you was still part of the Hueys history either flying or doing what you did - same difference and importance in my eyes - respect to you sir. OC.
