    Indeed mate I fully agree with you - I cant wait to start on my Mosi as Its ready to go, just the admiral will kill me if I do before finishing the pearl. OC.

    Really nice work there mate, the only car kit I ever built was a 1/24 diecast body/plastic Ford Focus Sport (as I used to own a Focus in the flesh) OC.

    Just seen another photo - looks like it the right way you have it, looks like the feet trap between the straps the way you have them. OC.

    Dan, in the picture showing the instrument panel and foor pedals - shouldn't they be upright were the feet pass through the loops. OC.

    If memory served me right, I ran a strip along the center line as part of my armour belts (on my warpy kit) that way it hid the bottom hull join. OC.

    And the rounded section for dowels (like my yardarms on the pearl) very useful tool. OC.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
