Hello,  I am a 1:35 scale armor modeler wanting to start wood ship building. Ive done a few plastic ship models years back.  I have really enjoyed some of the forums on the builds.....great stuff! And many experienced builders on here that  I hope I can learn from.

Hi Steve,

Welcome.

My advice is to use the forum and the members wealth of experience. When doing your first wood ship build, choose your first model after lots of research and use YouTube for ship builds for your particular model.

Gidday Steve and another warm welcome from the Land Downunder.

If I may pass on some friendly advice,

Check out the build logs if you have a particular kit or type of model in mind, I frequently look at the various logs to while away some spare time.

Search for recommendations on beginners kits.

Enjoy yourself and take your time.

I wish you al the best in your endeavours.

Mark.
