I draw up the plaque in Illustrator, save it as an eps file and the sports trophy shop etches it on a brass plate for about A$20. I have found a way around my problem, I installed a novelty certificate app on my phone and now I can do any kind of writing in black on white and white on black depending on what way I want the etching to come out. mtaylor 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The plaques look good, nice crisp edges to the etched letters. Maybe it is just the photos but they look like they might be copper. Copper etches very well with ferric chloride.
