Thank you for the kind words. Yes, I have few aquariums with african cichlids. My other hobby :)

Two half hulls spliced together.  Interesting concept.  Beautiful work.  I will be following along.

 

Good luck with that ebony.  I have never had much success when working with large pieces.  I found it to be too brittle.  That is definitely one wood where you need to be wearing a mask when sanding.
