Howdy!

I would like to offer for your consideration the following model kits that are a part of my late father's estate. Many of the members of the NRG knew my father Mitch Michelson as a very active member of the organization, and Kurt was kind enough to allow me to post these kits for sale on this forum. I held on to several other kits and supplies that my father acquired over his many years' interest in this hobby and related subjects for use and enjoyment in my own model building pursuits, but as we all know as hobbyists and craftsmen (& craftswomen!), there just isn't enough time to build them all. As such, I would be happy to see these kits go to other workbenches to provide enjoyment to others.

I will post an asking price with each in an effort to comply with MSW Forum guidelines, but please feel free to make any offer you feel is reasonable for the following kits, regardless of what "asking price" I list. Seriously, I would rather see these go out the door for "pennies on the dollar" for someone to get enjoyment from their contents than have them remain untouched for years to come on my shelves. I am not necessarily looking to make any kind of significant profit on the sale of these kits, but I would like to be able to gather some proceeds from these sales to go toward my own hobby interests that my father started me on the path of as a youngster.

Please also consider that several of the larger kits will obviously cost more to ship based on their weight, and I would ask that any buyers please be prepared to consider that when making offers. I will happily work on quoting shipping prices to interested parties via PM, and hopefully we can work out arrangements amenable to both parties from there. I will accept PayPal or Venmo payments.

To my knowledge, all of the following kits are complete with all parts. I am happy to take more detailed photos of any boxes' contents on buyer's request.

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have!

I was very sorry to learn of your father's death. I had the pleasure of both meeting and dealing with Mitch at various NRG Conferences over the years. My belated condolences to you and the family. I hope that his kits find good homes.

Be sure to sign up for an epic Nelson/Trafalgar project if you would like to see it made into a TV series  http://trafalgar.tv

I'm sorry to hear of your father's passing TexJake, the hobby as a whole will be less for his passing. Our prayers are with you and your family.

All of the kits you listed are excellent kits and anyone would be honored to own them.

Thank you both for your kind words, I appreciate them. The NRG community as a whole was a very important part of his life, and I have received quite a few heartfelt communications from members since his passing. It is clear that he made quite a few true friends and lasting connections through this group of amazing people, and I can take some solace in the fact that there are so many folks out there in the world that can think back on fond memories of his life and their experiences together.
