I hope this is the place to post this. I did a video of my AL Surprise build. Hope you enjoy it.   I was too shy to do a build log.

Brilliant time lapse and a beautiful job on your Surprise! I can hear Aubrey and Maturin pounding away on their instruments as it comes through the skylight. Thanks for that  I think I will read the books again as they are like old friends. Perhaps I will find a kit down the road after Winchelsea

For my net act, MARIS STELLA is coming out with a 1/48 HMS Sophie. Same scale, Same author. Seems to be taking a long time though.

I have to say I found that really quite moving.  I'm on my third time through reading the books in order, and the detail of the great cabin was a splendid link to the written world.  If you could still buy them, I think this would have been my next kit ( though disguising it's size might have been a challenge).  Anyway - great work - beautiful ship.
