Welcome to MSW, TrueNorth.   When you're ready, do start a build log as it'll be a great way to share your experience, get advice, and meet other builders.

 

BTW, is there a name we can address you by other than your screen name?  And tell us where you are as there are probably members or possibly a club near you.

Hi Nick and welcome to Model Ship World.  I hope you do start a build log so we can follow your progress.  The Bluenose is a beautiful ship.  You should check out Frank Mastini's book Ship Modeling Simplified.  It was my first book about ship modeling and it is the book that got me hooked on this hobby.  It is about building a model of the Bluenose.
