Looking for American Holly supplier

Hi,

 

Does someone maybe have source in EU for American holly. If not Eu then maybe US but not retail or small shop so its close to the source.

As you imagine its almost impossible to find "holly wood" supplier in google .

Holly is a small yree that does not grow all that straight.

I have used gilmerwood (including for holly) and would recommend them. Another couple of suppliers I have used are https://www.cookwoods.com/ and https://www.exoticlumber.com/. The availability varies from week to week. 

 

Holly is really expensive though. I assume you're looking for supplies to mill?

 

Generally I've found Exotic Woods to be cheapest but supplies are very limited (beware of their search, it will show out of stock items). Cook Woods is usually the most expensive but do have 1/8" and 1/4" sheets. Shipping will just add to the eye-watering cost.

Thank you all for input. I went teough all my EU suppliers today and feedback is big no.

I will contact US suppliers and see what they can offer.

It all comes down to price in the end but i hope to get as near to the original source as possible.

It would be awesome if i could offer that.

Not really, but Eastern European, as all four of my grandparents came to the US from Ukraine, about 600 miles south of Estonia, between 1910 and 1914.

I must admit, I used Google translator in my post above.  My French and Italian are rudimentary but my Estonian is non-existent.
