SpyGlass gets it right. They were going to try to refloat her in 1984 but found out she was beyond repair.

Searching for ship+movie ends up in lots of pics of starship Enterprise, titanic or horation hornblower.

All three are not correct, I presume....

You're pretty good in searching. Need to dig a bit deeper.....

You need to check out Petrus' scratch build O19, he's got a whole history lesson on his father's service (and a photo of the Java)

I know the story (at least the MSW1-version of it)

Had a discussion with him on the place where to find drawings of both Java and O19 in the Dutch archives.

i have made mistake, ive typed down ships of line royal navy and i clicked the first link... i was expecting it to be royal navy and it actually is american navy... nevermind, i was very surprised to find it by clicking that first link... here we go with the game...

A bit complex...

In my opinion is a ship belonging to the scottish company R & J Craig of Glasgow.

They owned a lot of four masted clippers.

the problem is the name...

maybe "County of Caithness" ?

Might as well be one of many new zealand or australian wool ships.....

Quite a few of those four masted ships have been build ;)

it is not Tantallon Castle.

She was involved heavily in trade with Aussieland...
