I am89 years old and in reasonable health as I live in aged care this will fill in the day and I posting this in right place. This kit will teach you proper hull planking techniques. There is also a series of 3 models. This series starts basic and builds into more challenging work as you proceed. Most of the little 'cute' kits from China are pirated anyway with crap materials. Get something designed for a beginner, the type suitable for a kitchen-table builder, and enjoy it. You will get good materials, good advice from MSW, and the odds are with you. This is exactly what I was referring to. If I had to start over I would have done the half hull kit and then the next three before taking on a large project.
