  4. Thanks for the info. What would be interesting is the last recorded date of images rotating. That might not be so easy to get, but I'm pretty sure it's not since we switched to v.4, although some clarification would be useful.
  5. Something I found but knew nothing about is this: This would, in theory, mean that the images will have rotated around the time they were originally uploaded, and certainly not just recently as there have been no revisions to the software that would make such a change, and this seems to be an isolated case. I edited the first page of your log to correct, so all I can think of is that these will need to be manually altered and re-inserted into your posts.
  6. Please don't apologise, this is why this forum area exists. So far, we've had no other instances of photos rotating by themselves, so it's quite odd. Can you send me a specific link?
  7. That's not the case at all. The gallery module, and also the forum itself, hasn't had an update now in a few months as we are currently operating the latest version. There have been some custom CSS mods made, but only to the new theme, and for controlling global font size.
  8. As for finding a mentor, I was contacted about the Fifie build, and assured the member that he should go ahead with a log. His work was superb, and I'll be there to assist where I can, knowing the subject intimately. Members are a wealth of knowledge, not just in general, but also for specific subjects. Don't be afraid to approach and ask, whether publicly or privately.
  9. Nice catch. I wonder if this was due to a collective lack of width in deck planking.
  10. There's no way that adding the new forum theme has rotated your images. I really can't explain how that could've happened. The easiest thing to do is to edit the affected posts, delete the image and upload the correct orientation again.
  11. Ok, I edited it for you. You'll need to set the colour as you like it. Posting a straight link will usually mean you get a photo-link to a topic. You needed to add the link to the name of the ship instead.
  12. A new company from the Czech Republic will release a 1:48 HMS Endeavour later this year. This is actually another brand of a company that has produced some excellent plastic and resin models for a few years, but this is of course a wooden kit, and we have the very first pictures of it to show you. The model is generally pearwood, with other elements in there that you'd expect such as various castings etc. and these photos show that it looks pretty darn good. I also have the plans here that I've been looking at, and all I can say is you're in for a treat. This is a welcome release of this famous ship, especially as the ones on the market are now quite old. I won't name the company yet...
  13. I always wondered how easy it would be to plank that deck with that joggled master plank. I guess I'm now going to see 🤣
  14. We can remove that, but it's a quick-navigation/search feature of the website, so you don't need to scroll to the top etc.
