  1. Now we start the standing rigging with a rope ladder along the mizzen mast, starting from the deck.

The rope ladder is made by the same technique as with the rope ladders of top masts. The ladder is attached on the starboard side of the mizzen mast.

  2. Meanwhile, are mounted on the deck and on the masts blocks of different shapes and sizes. I have hundreds of rings, eyelets and grommets made, painted and mounted in a variety of sizes. Even some small turnbuckles, hooks and various other very inconspicuous parts have now found their place.

  3. And again a few small parts ...

It had to make an enormous amount of these parts. Is all very unimpressive distributed on the deck, so here are just a few examples.

First of even the turnbuckles for shrouds the lower masts. First, as individual parts, assembled and some pictures from growing on the hull.

In the next picture are top of the bulwark some cleats attached (the smallest of which just 2mm long), before small lamps and down several bollards.

  4. and on we go ...

There have to be produced lots of small parts that still have to be put on deck and at the mast before they can be fixed. Therefore, here's a snippet of medley.

First of the parts in shell construction:

then ever with a little color, up some metal bracket with belaying pins, other belaying pins for expanding the betings, additional bollards, rings ...

  5. And it's going on with some updates.

After a few failed attempts, I succeeded with a usable rope ladder. On the side-ropes there are fixed small metal rods (0,3mm diameter).

The rope ladder is fixed at the upper part of the mast. In the middle the ladder is additionally fixed at the white spreader.

And now the ratlines. On the AV every 5th ratline is a metal rod, these also are fixed on  the clamping screws.

  6. It is going on with the topmast yards of the mizen mast.

First the clamping screws of the yards had to be wraped round

with cloth tape. Then there were necessary lots of thimbles and

    rings.
