That's a bummer you have to re-do them, but at least you caught it when you did, before they were glued to the deck and the rigging was started.

Couldn't ask for any more perfect planking on a boat so small. Very nice!!

That's it!!! Rivits instead of tree-nails. We really shouldn't give him any ideas.

The 120 watt ones are the "gun" type Jack. The "pencil" type actually go up to 40 watt here: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Weller-40-Watt-LED-Soldering-Iron-Kit-SP40NKUS/204195330

Lot of holes there Dennis! Did you drill all those out by hand? Must have taken hours!

You've been busy Tom! You're doing a marvelous job on her.

Sorry to hear of your Mother Nenad. My heart goes out to you and your family. I know how you feel. Lost my Father 19 years ago and my Mother 1 year later.
Edit: Yes, all men must die, but knowing that doesn't make it any easier for those left behind. Hang tough my friend!

She looks marvelous Ken! Since my past soldering experience only involved sweating copper pipes together, I'm sure your book will have a lot to offer guys like me.

That's some really lovely "iron-work" Ken. I'll be ordering your book around the 1st of next month, along with a couple others.

I'm glad you mentioned the metal milling capability of those bits Michael. On the contrary, I value your opinion on these tools a lot, since you've been doing this smaller scale wood-working, and I haven't. I know I won't be doing much, if any, metal milling that will require a metal lathe or milling machine, so finding bits for wood will be just fine. Finding the larger ones is easy. It's the smaller bits I'm looking for. My milling machine is going to be simply a drill-press with an X-Y table, strictly for doing wood. So these bits don't need to be Proxxon.
Cheers

Hope it's not too late to pull up a front-row seat to this one as well.

My hat's off to Woodie and Red Matt! They out-did themselves with the design of the companionway. Might want to throw in a couple extra nuts in their next pay-check!

Ditto on what Patrick said Bob! There's still quite a bit of talent there as far as I can see!
