  1. Hi Patrick, It is excellent! OK, I will try to think up something still. For example, let's imagine that it is the yacht in 1935 and in its saloon there is a Cup of America won in 1934 :) I incidentally found couple of photo of the last replica Rainbow: Best Regards! Igor.
  2. Hi Patrick, It is magnificent! Perhaps, to add to the yacht interior some pictures and a photos on walls? )) Best Regards! Igor.
  3. I use scalpel handles and scalpel blades within long time.
  4. Hi Nenad, I think you can look at the photo etched or laser cut details. For example or Best Regards! Igor.
  5. Railings... I tried two options, possible for me, - from a thin wire and with application of photoetched details for models in scale 1:700. I think that on the model I will use the second option. But I think to add to photoetched details of the racks from a wire.
  6. Hi Matija, A lot of thanks for a compliment! I often think that I already reached a limit too, but then I try to use other materials, other tools, other technologies and it appears that I was mistaken .
  7. Small progress today. For the boat I need to make a windshield. I used for this purpose thin transparent plastic and a brass wire with a diameter of 0,15 mm. Now I can establish a steering wheel and a windshield on the boat, to compare the new boat with old and to try to set it on the deck.
  8. For the first big boat I made a steering wheel (a big steering wheel:)). For the second small boat I tried to make the small steering wheel. I used a brass wire 0,15 mm thick and a boring bit with the diameter of 0,5 mm.
  9. Hi Patrick, Thanks for good words! I yet not absolutely finished the build the build of the deckhouse. It is required to establish windows, to complete brass lattices at light windows and so forth. But now I continue to build the new boat:
  10. My first attempt to make the boat for the ATLANTIC appeared not absolutely successful. The boat turned out too big therefore I decided to make it again.
  11. Hi, everybody! I continue construction the first of deck superstructures Also I start doing the second of them
  12. Thanks Patrick! Now came time for production of small details. Small details sometimes demand a lot of time for considering and production, but progress in these cases is almost imperceptible. )) Bets Regards! Igor.
  13. Hi Matija. Many thanks for the words of support! I think that your models are more excellent! Best Regards! Igor.
  14. Hi Patrich, I watched some photos to understand these elements are visible or not. On some of them they were hidden by a covering, on some are well visible. But I am going to establish a gunwale over boards and additional thrust blocks are necessary for me to paste them as thickness of boards is too small for this purpose. Best Regards! Igor.
  15. Hi Ben, The original and nice idea! Till that time you can construct the model of this model yacht for an interior of the doll boat and it will be really SMALL ))). Best Regards! Igor.
  16. Hi Patrick, No, it isn't painted and it isn't the curved wooden plank.I inserted a thin wooden plate between parts of the hull and also I processed everything together an emery paper. The top and lower parts of the hull didn't allow to grind off more than it is necessary. Best Regards! Igor.
  17. Hi Tuffarts, Thanks for council! But I am conservative in these questions and I prefer traditional tongues )))
  18. Hi Patrich, Many thanks for support and approval of my work! Do I correctly understood, what you are interested in this part of the stern? Best Regards! Igor.
  19. Hi Patrick, the great and wonderfull work! Yes, the yachts of J-class, which were born for the America's Cup, quickly evolved and became perfect. Technical rules of the Cup promoted creation of such forms. These yachts had having about 80 ft of a length on a waterline and the total length nearly one and a half times bigger (115-130 ft), but width of the hull was only about 20 ft. Some well-known yachts are now recreated in the form of replica. Perfection of lines of these yachts reminds me perfection of lines of gliders.
