Hi everyone, Many thanks for constant interest in my work and support. Today the third deck house and the anchor winch are finished. Best Regards! Igor.

Patrick, It won't bring any difficulties for me.I will be glad if it helps you. Best Regards! Igor.

Hi Patrick, I have a quantity of a packing film of white color. I am not sure, but perhaps you could use it for sails. On modern yachts of a sail too from synthetic fabric. It has an opaque matt surface and strong. I think, to you there will be enough 30 x 30 cm. I can send it the letter in an envelope to you. Best Regards1 Igor.

Thanks Patrick, I sometimes use needles from a syringe when I need thin tubes. They can be different diameter from 0,3 mm and more. And through them it is possible to stretch a thread if it is necessary. Are you going to do sails or only the mast and the rigging? Best Regards! Igor.

Hi Patrick, I always with impatience expect the updating of your Rainbow's log. And expectations are always rewarded! What diameter cross struts on the mast have? What material you used for their production? Best Regards! Igor.

Hi Jorgen, Formation of a sail I do BEFORE installation it on model. At first I moisten it with water and by means of the hot iron I try to give it the correct form. It is usually necessary to repeat it several times. Only after that I use the hairspray for fixing of the form of the sail. The sail has to be dry in this time. Best Regards! Igor.

Hi Lawrence, Many thanks for words of approval of my work. I think that ATLANTIC will reach a bottle enough not soon. Yesterday I made the third deck house and started trying to do the anchor winch. Railings too are some problem for me. Best Regards! Igor.

Hi Jorgen, About 8 years ago I used hairspray of the strong hold for formation of sails. These sails keep the form still. Best Regards! Igor.

I several times met in literature on shipbuilding of a mention of use of natural bends of a tree for production of some details. Best Regards! Igor.

Hi tallshiptragic, I think that you can simply try and you will see that it isn't so difficult as it seems at first sight. Your model of the STS seems not less amazing for me. Best Regards! Igor.

I am sure that you will achieve success. And I with pleasure will look at it. Best Regards! Igor.

Hi Bob, Patrick, Matija, Nenad, Carl, Matt and all! Many thanks for compliments, Likes and good words! Best Regards! Igor.

Hi Patrick, Yes, I agree. Sometimes such happens. But I try not to allow such situation at a bottle choice stage. Though, of course, it isn't possible to exclude such cases completely. But there is other problem which is more important for me. Sometimes I know as to make this or other element of my model outside of a bottle, but I can't place it in the same look in a bottle. Sometimes I think that I could do two identical models at the same time - one for a bottle, and another out off a bottle. But I still never made it ((. Best Regards! Igor.

Hi Mike, Incidentally I saw this photo. I think, it can be pleasant to you too. And links with like boat - https://www.facebook.com/sailshipataraxia/info?tab=page_info Best Regards! Igor.

Quite small progress today. I established a gunwale. Some time ago I received details for a rigging which I was going to use,but they have too small opening. I was compelled to order the new. Best Regards! Igor.

OK, Mike. Only I don't know in which section of a forum it is possible to place this topic Best Regards! Igor.

I found opportunity to buy some flasks - http://www.pcgroup.ru/products/kolba-ploskodonnaya-uzk-gorlovina-250-34/. My the first 2 ship in a bottle were in such flasks: Is it possible - to start new topic for discussing the questions about the bottles for SIB? Best Regards! Igor.

Hi Mike, Many thanks for the compliment! It only seems as improbable. But actually to make it was simpler, than I assumed earlier. Best Regards! Igor. P.S. The idea of Colin Archer in a bottle doesn't leave me. ))
