OK, I added the upper deck beams, all fine, and then added my one off special 0.8mm ply deck, ready for next stage of development.

Hi
works slowly progressing. First planking is completed but in this episod i want to show You deck and the way i choose to make tree nails effect.
first, photos of final effect
to achieve this I choose very simple method that could be describe in 3 steps
1. make a hole
2. take a wax for wood repairing
3. scrape excess wax, it comes off very easily
before and after I covered the deck with clear varnish
I know, tree nails should be in wood color but for artistic reasons I chose darker for contrast.

A small update for you, and I apologise for the dusty model. I need to do a blast over with some canned air.
The tiller is now fitted to the rudder and then rigged to the wheel using a series of 3mm single blocks. A lot easier than it looks.
The strops and deadeyes are now completed and secured to the channels with chainplate linkages.
Then onto the boomkins which are rigged down to eyelets on the prow.
Harpy will now be supplied with TWO boats. An 18' cutter will hang off the stern and this new 22' cutter will now sit on the deck.
She's looking very, very pretty.
Lastly, the bowsprit. I'm now currently on masts, but that's for another update!

Here are some pics of the completed boat. I was very happy with the final result. Overall I think this is great kit. Had a few minor issues, but oh well.

Four years later and I'm back at it. Had some dust to clear off, but it's starting to progress again. I'm pretty sure that ratlines are in my near future. I think I'm going to embrace working slowly. I was always eager to see progress so I'd go as quickly as I could through the build. I seem to get some lung irritation from CA glue, so using wood glue will help me take it slowly.

I've got the lower shrouds on now, but some life stuff is getting in the way and reducing my building time dramatically. I'll keep pecking away at it.

Got the cannons placed with the breech rope. That's all I'm going to do for the cannon rigging. I was going for rigging sort of like this cannon.

Little more progress, power was only out for about 30 hours, not too bad.
