    Ben, Bob and Roger, thanks guys for sharing your knowledge. Ben, I will check out the article you mentioned and by the way I have some of your brown cordage that was for the PdN which was demolished during the early stages of my build. I agree at this scale it would make little difference, but I'm leaning towards brown. Now the next puzzlement is to paint or not to paint. The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
