Chris, you've got me hitting my resource material trying to figure out the lines of the new venture. The stern looks interesting to me. Maybe a small contest to keep us all busy researching American Clippers is in order.

Thinking about a purchase has anyone built the  Amati Endeavour 1:35? What is your opinion of the overall kit.

Hi, Google painted canvas flooring, or floorcloth canvas, loads of pictures. 

I use a mix of isopropyl alcohol and water, mixing sticks courtesy of Starbucks.

Round tooth picks worked well for the supports, they are slightly tapered and I found give the right effect.

Glad to see that some you are doing a detailed view of the build and that the summary I posted peaked your interest.

Even here in Arizona with very low humidity rigging can sag during our Monsoon season (rainy season). What I learned to do is let the line stretch  out, I hang mine with a light weight on the end. As well as a 50/50 coating of water and white glue. Seems to work for me.
