    Hi Chris,

    I have asked the scale problem to Corel ( info@corel-srl.it ).

     

    Here is the answer:

    "The right scale is 1/50.

    Sorry, there is a mistake on the leaflet!!"

     

    Very interesting situation... A product of a model manifacturer (modelling is based absolutely on the scale) is still being sold with a basic error...

    I will probably give up building WVH in future. My current build is Berlin with 1/40 scale. One of the reason of choosing WVH was that the two ships have the same ratio ( this is my obsession but... )... :)

    Very, very nice.

     

    By the way, 25 years ago my HMS Victory cross section came with all one color, light tan line for both running and standing rigging.  I used it and am happy to report that is has darkened uniformly and looks very nice as of this day.  Of course yours is of a much higher calibre installation and is just going to look great.
