    Starting on the cargo holds. From stern to bow

    Strange to hear your voice after all these years! I thought of the foam for chipping as well as soon as I saw it

    Now the cargo holds. I could find no images or diagrams from this type of ship but I imagine they are all pretty much the same.

    Cargo holds cut open, next is to fabricate the actual holds and fill them with cargo

    So I bought a base and painted it, this is the final result. No where near the standard of the people who do them all the time but different.

    Holes drilled, working base set, dry fit of the hull is perfect. I’ve cut out the hatches on the side of the ship as I will have gangways running down both sides.

    And it starts, drilling out port holes in 4 different diameters

    So I’ve finally got a bit of time to finish the framing, I’ll do a smaller one on the other sub then use cigarette paper like in the Zara
