  1. Excellent work. I am looking into building a Oneida. I cant seem to find much info on her at all. What plans are you working from ? Do you know where I can get scale plans and rigging plans ? Thanks
  2. Good progress. Move slowly and carefully and you'll be fine. Not as easy assembly.
  3. Very interested in this. Im trying to find a great price. Is the ZHL kit a knock off of this kit ? Following. Thanks
  4. Yes understood. I can see doing it but I’d didn’t work out for me. Good luck
  5. I used the Hahn method for frames and have spend many hours on my LeRo and in the end I’m going to scrap the entire project. I made serious mistakes in haste because I didn’t want to cut each frame piece individually. The joints of the frames keel and keelson are very very critical. I succeeded with my Blandford section by doing the frames piece by piece and the correct way. I didn’t want to spend the time doing it on this model with bad results. By all means glue up the frames over the template leave them all larger all around and sand to shape. I’d hate to see you in the position I am in.
  6. Great so far. I'm thinking of using Dr Mikes method or similar on my next project too. I guess you lofted the frames yourself from the plans ? That's one part I hope to avoid. One thing though. I think you want the grain running vertically not horizontally. ?
  7. I'm interested in how you found the instructions. Were they detailed enough that many questions didn't have to be asked or were they lacking ?? Great work.
  8. I think the larger scale would be much more impressive when done also easier to work with the larger parts. Yes though, where to put it when done is an issue.
