For your info, my HMS Indefatigable build will be published as a two-part article in the Model Boats magazine, with the first part available in this month's mag.
It's the Model Boats mag that first drew me into this hobby with Keith Julier's period ship builds. If it wasn't for him, then I doubt MSW would exist, and my interest in this hobby.
https://www.modelboats.co.ukHere's the intro pages for Part 1 of my article.
Well deserved!!, congrats @James H

There oughta be a whole nuther thread for that debate, maybe in the Crew's Lounge!
Small update here. I added a base layer of color to the water. I used Tamiya Sea Blue mixed with a tinge of Tamiya Clear Blue and brushed it on.
I was trying to get a match for this color of ocean water below, erring on the blueish side if any. I think I got it pretty close.
The I decided my water under the bottle was too calm. So I grabbed some globs of my modeling clay, built several more waves, and added more patchwork foil.
Impressive work!! Congrats

Gus, I’ve built both Nisha and Saucy Jack, both are lovely kits to build. Nisha is slightly easier due to a less curved hull shape and a little easier to rig as the belaying pins at the foot of Jack’s mast are fiddly - not a great deal in it though. Enjoy!
Thsnk you Dan, are beauty works
