  2. I wanted to mention but forgot it sad that nature coast hobbies are getting bad because they assuming that they really do have the kit the Royal Louis that theirs is the lowest price and everyone is right that they do not reply back either by e-mail or Phone Ronald

I believe you might be right about Nature coast Hobbies Joe from speaking to the fellow on the phone it appears that he is the only employer there like a one man operation with that said I will tend to lead toward Cornwall model boats but would like to know what the shipping cost to the United states in particle to Louisiana I'm waiting for them to reply back but if someone here knows all ready that would be nice Ronald
  4. HI Brian yes I checked age of sail they are not showing any Mamoli kits especially the Royal Lowis I did see them listed on naturecousehobby and even e-mailed them to make sure but they never replied back and for a good price should I take a chance a order one from them Ronald

  6. Would anyone know why mamoli was the only wood kit company before the fire had the royal Lowis kit or is there another company that sellers a royal Lowis , better trey someone else Should have or get the plans or tooling Ronald

Hello there I need help with painting the first and second deck of my airfix 1/180 scale Victory it calls for humbrol #71 satin oak but I want to use the brand I have which is model masters would anyone know the substitute paint for the Humbrol satin oak in model master color paints I will not mind mixing to get the right color thank you Ronald

  12. Sorry Gil but I'm not the one who said it was to easy, All I was asking was how the lower guns was installed I didn't know they were dummy cannons and that rhere weren't carriages holding those guns Ronald

Hello to all who like to build the HMS Victory I notice there are lot of logs on building the Victory using many kit companies But I can not for the life of me find any logs or post on building the Mantua/panart victory kits either the 782 or the 738 because they are the same kit, anyway I would like to see post on these kit's as well, if their are MSW members that have or are building one please point them to me so I read their post, thank you Ronald

  16. Hi Gil I love your work on the Victory, may I ask you a question how are guns on the bottom two decks installed they can't be on carriages are they fake guns, I know the first two decks the guns are on carriages I'm lost as how the guns are installed on bottom decks Ronald

Hello fellow Victory lovers has anyone built the Mantua/Panart Victory # 782 or 738 either one I have read reviews about almost all the kit companies from the forum some good some bad, but I haven't seen any reviews on this kit, is it a good kit, are the instructions and plans any better or even with other kits. , Reason why is I'm thinking about this kit,It appears to be close to caldercraft/jolika victory but it's way out of my range price wish, I would like to know more about this kit from people that have built it thank you Ronald

Hi fellows I have been reading this post about which is the best Victory kit and I can see why the caldercraftjotika Victory would be best kit but for now I wouldn't be able to even come close to even buying it, It.s far to pricey for me now I would have to make a loan to buy it LOL, So anyway I would like to know which kit would be the second best would it be either Mamoli Victory kit, the Mantura/panart Victory and what about Latina would that be a good Victory Kit has anyone built a Latina Victory kit Thank you Ronald

  22. would that book be written by John Mckay if so I have that book But unable to find the area you are talking the only color photos of the ship are out side and all pages in this book are black and white and the dust jacket doesn't show any color photo of the deck Ronald
  23. Hello There can anyone help me with painting the top area from the front to back of My airfix 1/180 scale HMS Victory. With all the photos out there I'm still unable to find one that shows which area of railing or Bulwarks, .poop deck is suppose to be black and what is yellow Ochre, from what I understand by some pictures I was able to find the area where the guns are Yellow Ochre, but where does the color black start and end and the Yellow Ochre starts and ends, I'm still learning the ship parts or terminology so please be patient I will get it eventually LOL but for now I need all the help I can get with my building and would appreciate any in formation you have to offer thank you Ronald
