Hi Anton,
Yes, they give a schedule .......at the time that you don't need it!
In the start of the build they re saying make it black above the waterline.
I dont, i make it blue.
The railing should be sapelli stained, i make them black.
I,m now at the stage (80) that they tell me to paint the side of the railing gold.......
Nice when you are using stain.....
So i have an underground.
Same as the wales and other small beams that i have to attach now.
I found out that they are having a gold color.....
paint time again!

A little update.
I have make a few decorations and rudder and a lot of tiny stuff !
I need more time with the painting then other things.
So it goes really slowly !
DeAgostini has a lot of metal parts that should be painted.
Even the little figures but that's for later.
At this moment I am putting the wales on.
Not a easy task because I have to lie the ship on her side !
I know I have to look forwards but this is at book number 80 !
When you have a big drawing you can see it in advance.
But now ?
Sometimes I'm thinking.....go in the closet and stay there !
But nope, it has also a little charme.... ( don't know witch one but it looks so nice when i wrote it down )
Enough complaining and pictures !

Thanks Sjors. No knots in my ratlines. I use a thickend diluted white glue. And the ratlines are simply glued into place. Dries clear and no staining.
Here is a veiw of the fore mast. The futtock shrouds are not attached yet and are just dangling.
I know you can't see knots with this method but I like the look.

The builds that are finished are no longer in our house.
2 of them are by the neighbors when we are moving to another city.
2 of the ships are at a kindergarten.
They just want to show the children how a sailing ship a long time ago looks.
Aggy is still in the house but maybe she goes to my company.
They want to put her at the office in the garage.
We have to otherwise we have to move again......to a much bigger house.
