I have the Echo cross section package, and wondering if any plans were produced for the fitting out.
I have downloaded the fitting out instructions in the meantime.

Hi All,
I am thinking of getting a smaller lathe than my faircut junior as its a little too big to keep moving on and off the bench, what would people recommend, my thoughts are the older unimat SL or the cowells 90, i have been looking at both on ebay,
They would only be for turning smaller items, what are peoples thoughts and experiences, as i seem to find few users of the cowells
cheers

HI All,
I am thinking of getting a band-saw, however need some advice from users and owners
Option 1, from a number of supplier
http://www.axminster.co.uk/axminster-hobby-series-hbs205n-bandsaw
Option 2 again from a number of suppliers
http://www.axminster.co.uk/axminster-hobby-series-hbs250n-bandsaw
The the 3rd option the Proxxon
http://www.proxxon.com/en/micromot/27172.php?list
looking at the review of the proxxon it looks like it would do the job, but it is small and has no fence.
More than willing to look at other options that i have missed.
cheers

Now that I have my Byrne's disk sander it has become obvious to me that dust and its pitfulls needs to be sorted. Not to mention I share the workshop with the admirals glass making.
What do others use for their dust extraction? Currently it is only dust that is my concern but I am sure chips will be creates in due course.

Hi All
Just a quick update as i did some work today in order to test out the new Byrnes disk sander. so I made the gratings up and cut and sanded some planks to length. I was not disappointed.
I also came across mikeaidanh build log of this kit and I have to say i am impressed located here

Well the next essential step has been taken, well not quiet essential but nice step at least.
I have had other model disk sanders and either had issues around build or lack of dust extraction. This seems from the reviews fits the bill, and must say as a former model engineer extremely well made and smooth operation.
tomorrow it gets dusty.

Or to factor in the VAT on delivery (drawplate also arriving today
