Some more progress all ready for the blocks now.

She looks great Max,it's a nice looking ship alright.The posts take ages don't they.

Thanks Denis,i'll put sails on her,that should be interesting they were supplied in the kit.Thanks Malcolm I did a plastic Endeavour about 16 years ago and thought a wooden one would be nice one day.Lots of different versions of the Endeavour.Ron.

Finally did some more,i'll do the spars now then onto the rigging.A bit of spar tapering done although it's hard to see on the photo's.Good to do a bit more.

The windows look great Denis,also the planking.

Real nice job on the hull,she looks great.The colour scheme looks good doesn't it.

Good news you are feeling better now,sounds like the bug was trying to put some weathering on you.Great job on your boat,nice details the pumps aren't easy are they.The stove pipe is real good.

Thanks Frank and Mark,my mum is going well I think she is relieved to be in good care and not have to worry about house bills,maintenance etc.Mizzen done,might do the spars next at some stage.

Thanks chaps,she is going well just not much strength after her 2nd broken hip.She just had her 88th b/day so is allowed to slow down a bit and relax now.

Hi Max,It's great to see another Occre Endeavour build,you're going great so far.Pretty hard not to open the box, you need to check all the parts are there ha,ha.The best advice I can give you on the kit is go by the measurements and placement of parts by the plans or the colour instruction book,not both.The photos in the colour instruction book must be a prototype model.The written instructions sizes are wrong sometimes as well so try part lengths against your ship.Capt Slog has an Endeavour build close to the Occre one,lots of other excellent Endeavour builds here as well.Good luck any questions just ask.

Great idea on the bowsprit step,i'll use your sandpaper around the old brush trick,unless it's copywright.She's looking great Augie,must go and use my seat of ease.
