Great photo collection; not so easy to shoot them under sailing conditions. Yes, and I agree that the O'Brian naval novels are so enlightening for the era and always worth to re-read them. The manufacturer is indeed Naval Models, a Dutch company that still exists. However, they now specialise in plastic models. The kit is said to date back to the 1960s. So we exchanged various details, and now he is waiting for his money and I am waiting for a box of wood. I will keep you posted.
