I had a great time....My wife and daughter did as well.

In that photo that was posted showing those 5 handsome fellows....

Ryland is on the left...I am next to him...(must cut back on the pasta)..then there is Barry, JimL , and TomR from my local New Jersey club.   We really enjoyed it and I will be giving a short description of the conference at my club meeting tonight.

Getting in to see the Hunley was just fascinating.  You really got up close to the tank she is still soaking in.  The sub wll be in that bath for another ten years.

The scary thing about it is when you look at the mock up you find out that it ws a tight fit.  I doubt if any of us could fit through the hatches.  It took a lot of courage for those men to be in her and do what they did.

Some very nice photos and some very beautiful models, thank you for posting. One year, hopefully not in the too distant future,I would love to attend one of these conferences. As you can appreciate though,it is rather a long way,so would need a lot of forward planning.I am attending the international model boat show next month on my side of the 'pond' so I hope to have some nice pics to post.

Kind Regards Nigel
