Can anyone comment on applying clear coats to models when living in the tropics? would humidity be a factor with clear finishes?

high humidity will cause lacquer to blush, as we call it in the trade ( fog ).   the way to beat it is to spray a slower drying lacquer thinner over it..... one fast wet coat.  give it about 20-30 minutes , see if the blush is drawn out...... if not repeat........ this process is for lacquer products only.      being an autobody man & painter....... been their done it.   lacquer thinner comes in different temperature ranges.  fast dry, medium , slow .
