Enthusiastic Novices, Dad and Son

Hi, my son(13) and I have been browsing this Forum and are amazed at, and envious of, the brilliant work being produced. We like it a lot and together, we would like to start building models of our own. I am a rusty ex MOD engineer (long time ago) but can probably still measure ok and cut a straight line kind of. My son recently found an old Artesian Latina kit I had barely started back in 2002 (never done one before) of HMS Endeavour and we want to finish it together. The problem we have is the Instructions are missing but we still have 4 large plans. Maybe biting off more than we can chew but we are going to try and carry on with it using just these drawings and hopefully a bit of guidance from any willing guys on here. Well thanks for putting up all your excellent pictures and good luck. Off to make a bench.

Hi Hotswarf (love the name!). There are quite  a few build logs of the Artesania Endeavour on this forum. Do a search (top right of the page) using those keywords and you should be able to access them. I think they should be able to answer a lot of questions you may have and help you along your way.

Good luck with it all,

Steven

Also love your 'handle'. I laughed out loud when I read it. Welcome! Good for you both. I'm sure you'll find the support you need here on this site.
