Hey everyone. 

Just ordered my first wooden kit ever and have definitely bitten off more than I can chew.. Boy am I glad to have found this site!

Used to build plastic war ships, planes & tanks back when I was in school 20 years ago. Haven't made any models since.
I can def see myself starting another one once this first one is finished though. So my foreseeable addiction with wooden kits has got me a little bit excited but my girlfriend a little bit worried :D.
 

Look forward to seeing everyone's builds.

I’ve nearly finished my first boat, have started my second and have my third sitting on the shelf ready to go!

 

Also, Sandoman a reference to the legendary surf hack that was the Holden Sandman?

One of the nicknames I got in highschool due to having a similar surname.
