I scratched the William Underwood carrier years ago and here is what the plans from Harold Payson called for. It's a 160 lb admiralty kedge anchor. The Underwood is 70 ft LOA and the Pauline is 83 ft LOA, so yours would most likely be a little larger. But they are from the same era. Here's a webpage that might help in sizing the anchor, its weight and dimensions. pwog Posted September 26, 2022 Author Share #95 Posted September 26, 2022 I'm finished! This was my second build. It was frustrating at times and very rewarding at times. I learned a ton and enjoyed this build immensely! Now I am ready to attempt my first plank on. Thanks to all who followed this log and for your comments and encouragement. Before I post final pictures I want to tell you a weird little story. Yesterday my wife went up in our attic and retrieved some old knitting magazines that belonged to my mother. The first one she picked up she opened to the following page, having no idea it would be there...
